OHPLTD has considerable experience in delivering high quality occupational health advice to managers dealing with sickness absence management

OHPLTD guarantee a routine appointment will always be available within 7 working   days of receipt of a referral in any of the 3 clinical centres that is Central Belfast, Ballykelly (near Limavady) and Dungannon.

If the employer marks the referral as urgent then an appointment will be offered within 3 working days.

 Structure of occupational health advice

All reports following consultations follow an accepted best practice format which covers the past history of the problem present situation, how the illness is likely to progress specific date for a return to work  any restrictions when the client does return, is the illness work related is there medical evidence of an underlying recognized medical condition  is rehabilitation required and if  so specific details of what the employee can be expected to do and timescale for full recovery, is the illness likely to meet the legal definition of disability as defined in the Disability legislation are the criteria for ill-health retirement likely to be met

All OHP medical practitioners have experience in advising on ill-health retirements and complying with local government and private sector pension schemes.

 Audit

The entire process from receipt of referral information to provision of the report is the subject of regular audit and form a part of the practitioners annual appraisal and revalidation.
